« Katerina hotel is a must stay for those traveling to Chico. Clean, beautiful esthetic, with nice restaurant and bar amenities. Happy hour was a plus with nice food offerings and tasty drinks. The pool was well maintained and sunny. Staff at hotel went above and beyond to check in with you to make sure your stay was as comfortable as possible. Rooms were well sized, huge bathroom, and clean. Would recommend staying here - close to shopping and freeways. »

« Well it looks like they're doing some renovating so the rooms are a little thrashed and old the swimming pool was the worst when I jumped in the pool I saw what I thought was green ribbon but it was green algae! And then I ordered a wedge salad and the tomatoes were very mushy and then they don't tell you that breakfast is not free they say that there is a breakfast but they charge you $8 not a big fee but when you're expecting free continental breakfast and you know. « air conditioner didn't work. We moved to a clean room where AC worked but very noisy. Also noticed a man taking a shower with a garden hose, just outside the pool area. Motel was not in newer area of chico, so had a pretty "used" atmosphere about it and not well maintained. price reflected conditiopn of unit. »

« The A/C and the refrigerator were extremely noisy. We had to turn them off entirely to reconcile our sleep and opened the windows for ventilation but we could still hear the neighbors A/C’s. The carpet is smelly too. The staff on the other hand are very friendly and helpful. »
